Kyle Kuzma Talks Beef With LeBron James Before Lakers Game
Kyle Kuzma talked about potential beef with LeBron James before Saturday’s Lakers game.
Shortly after the Lakers fell to the Clippers on Christmas Day, Kuzma’s trainer took to social media to call out James.
In the social media post, Kuzma’s trainer essentially called Kawhi Leonard a superior player to James in a very blatant and unapologetic way.
Given the fact that Kuzma and James are teammates, this understandably caused a stir.
“Watching Kawhi highlights from yesterday,” Kuzma’s trainer wrote on Instagram.
“NOBODY wants to speak on how sharp his skill set is compared to Lebrons. It’s clear who’s really in the LAB and who isn’t.”
Kuzma on his relationship with James: “I mean, it’s great. When you’re around people multiple years you get to know them more.”

After the trainer’s comments went viral, Kuzma was pressed on what transpired by local reporters.
Kuzma acknowledged that and James had spoken regarding the matter, but that the conversation was not angry or overly-serious.
“I just told him I can’t control what another man says,” Kuzma said.
“Obviously I don’t feel that way. Everybody knows what me and Bron have a great relationship…And I left it at that. I mean, [our relationship is] great. When you’re around people multiple years you get to know them more.”
While Kuzma obviously did his best to minimize the issue, only time will tell if this is something James will simply forgive and forget about.

Kuz is right, he can’t control what a grown man comments on. But in the future, if I were Kuz, I would alert my trainer to think about what you say before you say it. (If you want to keep your job). Don’t put Kuz on the spot behind your feelings. Hey everybody has their opinion about Lebron vs Kwahi or Kwahi vs Durant … These cats are outstanding in their own right … Let’s just leave it at that.
