Kevin Durant’s Feelings On Thunder Amid Reunion Rumors

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns 128-103 this past weekend.

Durant has never been shy about expressing his opinions regarding his old team, and this week proved to be no exception.

Specifically, Durant offered his thoughts on the Thunder as they are presently constructed.

“They’ve got great talent here. Guys that love to play ball,” he said.

“They’re not too involved with the extra stuff outside of the game. I think that’s what we had as a group when we were here. They got a coach that understands them and understands the game.”

Durant heaped more praise on Mark Daigneault later in the interview.

“It is the trust, you can tell he trusts his players,” he continued.

“He puts them in a position to succeed but also challenges them on the floor too. I’m sure he challenges all his players to go out there and do new things to try to expand their games even on the fly throughout the season.

“When you get that trust from your coach to just go out there and play your game regardless of mistakes I think you will see guys buy-in so it has been that way since day one. These guys have been on the same page, you can tell they have grown together.”

Will Durant’s Thunder face off against the Thunder in the playoffs this season? Time will tell.
