Anthony Davis’ Icy Exchange With Darvin Ham Goes Viral (Video)

Anthony Davis’ icy exchange with Darvin Ham went viral this week following the Los Angeles Lakers’ embarrassing loss to the Houston Rockets.

The clip showcasing Davis’ annoyance with Ham didn’t leave much to interpretation:

Whereas Rockets coach Ime Udoka was constantly coaching his guys up on Monday night and showing them the right way to play, Ham consistently seemed confused and befuddled on the sidelines:

Davis isn’t the only person on the Lakers’ roster to express frustration with Ham this week.

D’Angelo Russell was also noticeably ticked off on Monday night when talking about whether to try and win a game when they are down 30 points or to throw in the towel and rest the starters.

“I don’t know when we were down 30 but I think in the fourth quarter around 7-8 minutes, one more push, and that’s when that decision should be made,” Russell said. “Once again, that’s on coach and we got a back-to-back so I think it’s definitely something that we should do.”

Over the past week the Lakers have been linked to a massive Austin Reaves trade, a controversial role player and a three-team, win-win-win big-name trade.

Everyone is expecting them to make a big trade ahead of the 2024 NBA Trade Deadline.

That being said, it is hard to see who could possibly help them right the ship.

The talent on the roster isn’t the problem.

Ham is.

Until the Lakers fire Ham and replace him with someone more competent, trading away assets doesn’t make a ton of sense.
