Lakers Give Anthony Davis Injury Update Before Celtics Game
The Lakers gave an Anthony Davis injury update before the Celtics game scheduled for Monday.
After missing five outings with an injured butt, Davis will be available to play against Boston.
That said, Davis will reportedly play with a minutes restriction in the game and Frank Vogel will keep him on a very tight leash. Any sign of trouble and Davis will get pulled.
Los Angeles point guard Rajon Rondo is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game. He has been dealing with a finger injury.
On the Boston side, Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown are both expected to return after missing Saturday’s showdown against the Phoenix Suns.
Walker was dealing with a knee injury and Brown was battling a right thumb sprain.
Davis hurt his butt when he fell onto his tailbone during a game against the New York Knicks on January 7.
