The Chicago Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 121-103 on Monday night.
One of the notable storylines heading into the outing was that it marked Alex Caruso’s first return to LA since departing this past offseason. There has been a lot of back-and-forth regarding who was truly to blame for him leaving, prompting some to speculate about precisely what sort of reception he’d end up receiving.
Well, when the time came both the Lakers and Laker fans showed him a ton of love.
Caruso finished the game with 0 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. Oh, and a +/- of +28 – the second-highest of anyone in the game. Typical Caruso stuff.
One guest who opted to show up and watch Caruso work his magic was his model girlfriend, Mia Amabile.
Amabile previously went viral over her racy Instagram profile and clear adoration of Caruso. This week, she similarly broke the internet with who she opted to bring to the Bulls-Lakers game (via awesomo):
Amabile is a big star on Instagram, and it’s easy to see why:

Clearly Caruso has a keeper on his hands.
While the relationship between the Lakers’ front office and Caruso obviously soured over how their negotiations this past summer ultimately went, the championship he won with this franchise is forever engrained in fans’ minds. For that reason alone, he will always hold a special place in LA’s heart.
