Video Of Dirk Nowitzki Elbowing Steve Nash Goes Viral
Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash were both on hand this week to watch the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks square off in the NBA Finals.
Because Nowitzki is widely regarded as the greatest Mavericks player of all time, his presence wasn’t surprising. Nash obviously has ties to the organization, too.
During one of the games, the camera panned over to Nash and Nowitzki and caught something of a funny moment.
The sequence showed Nowitzki getting hyped about something the Mavericks were doing, Nash being nonplussed, and Nowitzki reacting accordingly:

Nowitzki’s love for the Mavericks is a matter of public record. He has been extremely involved with the franchise since retiring, and is widely regarded as a close advisor to Mark Cuban.
Clearly he is very invested in the outcome of the NBA Finals.
Nash, though? He is just along for the ride.
