Vanessa Bryant Receives A Special Gift From Pau Gasol

Vanessa Bryant commemorated her anniversary with her late husband, Kobe Bryant, this week.
In a series of posts on social media, Vanessa shared photos of herself and Kobe – plus certain gifts she received from various individuals in honor of the event.
One of the people who sent something to Vanessa this week was Kobe’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Pau Gasol.
Vanessa shared Gasol’s gift on her IG Stories:

Vanessa is obviously no stranger to receiving gifts from Gasol. Some have even taken issue with how close the two are.
But clearly Gasol is just a really great friend to the entire Bryant family, and anyone who tries to insinuate otherwise has some serious issues to work through.
That said – Vanessa is used to being in the headlines for myriad of reasons. It doesn’t even phase her anymore.
Between her party pictures with Kim Kardashian, her wild girls’ night photos with La La Anthony and her photos with Rob Pelinka, she is constantly trending for something or other.

Her dynamic with Gasol is just the latest example of that.
Kobe was a truly special and influential figure within the larger Los Angeles sports community. His impact on the city will forever go down in L.A. lore.
As a result, Vanessa always holds a special place in the hearts and minds of Lakers fans as well. Her close bond with Gasol is something that has and continues to warm the hearts of both their supporters everywhere.
