Utah State Cheerleader Causes A Stir During March Madness (Video)
Utah State Cheerleader Causes A Stir During March Madness (Video)
Missouri easily defeated Utah State on Thursday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
Given that the Tigers came into this one as a No. 7 seed and the Aggies were a No. 10 seed, nobody was expecting the end result to be much different than what it ended up being.
Because of that, the primary story coming out of this outing wasn’t anything related to the players – it involved a cheerleader.
A Utah State cheerleader, specifically.
In the closing seconds of her team’s loss, TNT zoomed in one particular Aggies dancer.

For whatever reason that really irked fans across the aisle.
They promptly then took to social media to react to TNT’s decision.
I don’t ever want to be this type of SMM who pokes fun at ppl for engagement. https://t.co/RbsTBalEbJ

Don’t find this stuff funny. So many people make fun of women for the generalization that they don’t know sports and here’s someone who is actually passionate about sports and they’re getting made fun of for it. Lots of women really do love sports and we can’t take that joy away https://t.co/Sx62jRF5OZ

People making fun of her are the same ones that get mad and emotional over lost bets, bad foul calls and their favorite team losing meaningless games in the regular season https://t.co/TpEixYdbDT

Big picture, March Madness is full of highs and lows. This particular Utah State cheerleader learned that lesson the hard way.
Plus, if it’s any consolation, now she gets to enjoy her fair share of college athletics stardom. Obviously her video won’t cause as much of a stir as Olivia Dunne’s recent provocative photos did, but it will still make her a viral star for a day.

At least that’s something.
Will any other cheerleaders ultimately set the internet ablaze in the opening around of the NCAA Tournament? Time will tell.
