Luka Doncic’s Mom, Grandma Wore Special Outfits To NBA Finals
Luka Doncic’s mom Mirjam Poterbin and his grandma Milena Poterbin were both in attendance for Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
While the Dallas Mavericks ultimately came up short in the outing, losing 105-98 to the Boston Celtics, both Poterbin women left quite the impression.
Their outfits to Game 2, specifically, went mega-viral.
The imagery largely speaks for itself:

After Game 2, Doncic stepped to the podium and addressed who he felt was most responsible for the Mavericks’ loss.
“I think my turnovers and my missed free throws cost us the game. I’ve got to do way better in those two categories.”

“It didn’t work because we lost,” he said. “At the end of the day, we’ve got to make some more shots. I think my turnovers and my missed free throws cost us the game. So I’ve got to do way better in those two categories. At the end of the day, we’ve got to make shots.”
Doncic’s point of view is admirable, but it is hard to fault him for Dallas’ performance. He finished with 32 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds. If anyone should shoulder the blame for Game 2, it is the rest of his teammates.
Either way, the Celtics merely maintained homecourt advantage. Now the series shifts to Dallas.
Will Doncic’s mom and grandma be in attendance for Game 3 when the Mavericks take the floor in front of their home fans? Time will tell.
