Jazz Star Jordan Clarkson’s Outfit Causes A Stir At Fashion Week

Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson is in the midst of arguably the most consequential offseason of his professional career.

After the Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell trades, it has become abundantly clear that Utah is intent on cleaning house. Clarkson is a former Sixth Man of the Year and proven offensive spark plug, but he has no place on a rebuilding team.

A move feels inevitable.

This week, Clarkson made headlines once more – but this time not for anything basketball-related. Rather it was his outfit choice for New York Fashion Week:

Reactions to Clarkson’s attire poured in quickly and mercilessly.

“Utah can keep him,” one fan wrote.

“Man he stole the queens fit,” another fan added.

“What in the Westbrook,” a third fan replied.

You have to give it up to Clarkson, though – the man isn’t afraid to go outside the box when it comes to his wardrobe.

Fashion stuff notwithstanding, it will be fascinating to see where Clarkson’s career goes from here. There are currently 5 teams out there vying for his services.

The Los Angeles Lakers seem like an especially good fit, but the Jazz’s most recent demand for them may render that a non-option.

Clarkson averaged 16 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting from the field and 31.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc last year. Those numbers aren’t quite what they were when he peaked in his Sixth Man of the Year campaign, but they’re still very strong.

In the right situation, Clarkson could unquestionably put a championship-contending team over the top.

And if he wins a chip, suddenly his bold fashion moves will undoubtedly be viewed through a slightly different lens.

Where will Clarkson ultimately be playing when the 2022-23 NBA season finally rolls around?

Time will tell.
