Miami Heat Trading For Andre Iguodala
The Miami Heat are trading for Andre Iguodala, it would appear.
Heading into Thursday’s trade deadline, Miami is active.
Although the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets are the teams most frequently mentioned as potential partners for an Iguodala deal, apparently the Heat are also in the mix.
According to The Athletic NBA insider Shams Charania, Miami and the Memphis Grizzlies have had conversations regarding a possible deal for Iguodala.
At the moment it is unclear how Iguodala would feel about the proposed trade, as he has indicated that he wants to play out West.
“Sources tell me that the Heat have emerged as a suitor for Andre Iguodala.”

That said, if the Grizzlies are set on moving him, Iguodala could do a lot worse than linking up with Jimmy Butler and the Heat.
The 36-year-old Iguodala could be just the veteran presence Miami needs to move up to the top of the Eastern Conference.
Currently, the only clear championship contender in the East is the Milwaukee Bucks – beyond that everything is up for grabs.
Iguodala was traded by the Golden State Warriors to the Grizzlies last offseason.
He and Memphis agreed to sit out while the team worked on a possible trade deal.
To date, nothing has materialized on that front.
Will Miami be able to swing a deal for Iguodala before Thursday? We’re about two days away from finding out.
