Newly-minted Oklahoma City star, Alex Caruso, got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Haleigh Broucher this week.

Understandably, one of the first people to jump in and offer a reaction to the big news was Caruso’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, LeBron James.
Caruso and James were always tight – something that made the former’s departure from the Lakers all the most stunning.
Based on how Caruso spoke about being hurt regarding how the whole process went down, it was clear that there was still some bad blood between him and L.A. management.
The fact that Caruso went on to become one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA only rubbed more salt in the wound.
A few weeks ago the Thunder acquired Caruso from the Chicago Bulls in an effort to improve on this year’s playoff run. His new fiance had a strong reaction to the move. He is expected to bring championship experience and veteran savvy to a young team in desperate need of it.
