LeBron James took a moment this week to address his son, Bronny’s, biggest perceived weakness on the basketball court.
Bronny is obviously poised to become one of college basketball’s biggest stars this year. The media has followed his on-the-court accomplishments and off-the-court love life escapades closely for years, but with his USC debut approaching, the hype will likely reach a whole new level.
That said, one perceived weakness has dogged Bronny for years: the idea that he isn’t athletic in the way his dad always was.
LeBron addressed that notion head on this week.

The narrative surrounding Bronny and his younger brother, Bryce, has been that the latter is more of the athletic specimen that LeBron was whereas the former is a hard-worker who wasn’t as blessed naturally.
Clearly LeBron disagrees, though.
It will be interesting to see how Bronny proves the doubters wrong this season as a Trojan.
Obviously he is coming off his cardiac arrest scare, but according to LeBron, he is recovering just fine.
“Bronny is doing extremely well,” LeBron said at Media Day.
“He has begun his rehab process to get back on the floor this season with USC. He had successful surgery and he’s up and up. It’s definitely a whirlwind of emotions for our family this summer but the best thing we have is each other.
“And we stuck behind each other and gave Bronny strength throughout the whole process. We are happy to see where he is today and look forward to seeing what his future still has in store for him.”

There is a lot of hype and anticipation for Bronny’s big collegiate debut.
