Cam Reddish was one of several new players the Los Angeles Lakers added this summer to shore up the team’s depth.
The 24-year-old has been linked to L.A. in various capacities for years, but his purple and gold debut didn’t go as planned.
Most notably, he wound up suffering an ankle sprain in the Lakers’ preseason debut against the Golden State Warriors.
But even outside of that, Reddish wasn’t very good. A video compiled of all his missteps illustrates just how poorly his inaugural Lakers game went.

NBA fans are a loud bunch. That goes doubly so for Lakers fans, arguably the most vocal group in the league.
Understandably, folks took to social media to react to Reddish’s troubles.

Not a lowlight reel from one preseason game

Perhaps Cam Reddish should have worked on his basketball game in the off season instead of focusing on “adding 10 pound of muscle”

Unfortunately his career is a lowlight reel

Big picture, one game is just one game. And if Reddish bounces back strong from his initial dud, nobody will remember it.
That said, the pressure is on.

By any objective measure, Reddish has underperformed relative to the expectations set for him coming into the league.
Will Reddish be able to turn his career around with the Lakers this season? Time will tell.
