The Golden State Warriors made headlines for an unfortunate reason earlier this week when a pair of its biggest stars got into a physical altercation.
Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, two foundational pieces of last year’s championship run, got into it at a recent practice session.
First words were exchanged. Then punches.
On Friday, video of the fight emerged:

Needless to say, fans had some extremely strong and detailed reactions to the visual.
The responses largely speak for themselves:
You know what this is?
It’s assault.
I mean teammates have beef. Fights happen.
But that’s wack.
Dray’s got issues. He’s that dude that can’t do it without being over the line constantly.

It will be interesting to see where the Warriors go from here. Head coach Steve Kerr has made it clear that veterans picking on Poole has been a thing that has happened throughout this offseason.
That coupled with someone leaking to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports that Poole was essentially asking to get smacked paints a troubling picture about what is going on in Golden State’s locker room.
One NBA team has already stepped forward and expressed extreme interest in acquiring Poole. While some on the Warriors clearly have an issue with his attitude, outward love for the ladies and understandable longing to secure the bag, certain squads see him as a talented young piece to build around.
The hits keep coming for Russell Wilson and Ciara. https://t.co/fYEK9KYBbC

Will what happened this week lead to Poole getting traded away sooner than anyone anticipated he might?
Time will tell.
