D’Angelo Russell Rejects Lakers Huddle, Eats Snacks And Tweets On Bench

D’Angelo Russell finished the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 3 loss to the Denver Nuggets with zero points.

Not only did he go 0-of-7 from the field and record no meaningful plays on either side of the ball, but he also displayed the sort of bad attitude that Lakers fans hate.

One particular video captured Russell refusing to partake in a team huddle.

Instead, he opted to eat snacks and tweet from the bench:

Big picture, the Lakers could have dealt Russell at the NBA Trade Deadline this year.

They opted to retain him and bet on him stepping up big when it mattered most.

He hasn’t.

Will Russell still be a member of the Lakers come the start of next season? At the moment, all signs point to the answer being a definitive ‘no.’
