Caitlin Clark and Iowa earned a very impressive victory over South Carolina on Friday night.
As has been the norm throughout this year’s NCAA Tournament, Clark stole the show.
Not only did she score 41 points and dish out eight assists, but the 21-year-old also scored or assisted on all but five of the Hawkeyes’ 28 field goals. Incredible stuff.
One of the things that fans really love about Clark is her attitude. It showed itself against Louisville when she faced off against Hailey Van Lith, and it reared its head again against South Carolina.
This mildly disrespectful defensive sequence is the Caitlin Clark experience in a nutshell:

Understandably, fans had some strong reactions to Clark’s move and gesture.
They immediately flocked to social media to weigh in.
I’m curious what people think about this. Do you find this disrespectful or no?
I don’t.

Clark wasn’t the only Iowa star to go viral on Friday. One of the school’s cheerleader’s provocative photos blew up online shortly thereafter as well. But for the most part, the spotlight remained on Clark.
Now all eyes turn onto her match-up in the NCAA Champioship Game against LSU.
Up to this point, Clark has dominated in a way few saw coming heading into March Madness.
What an offseason for the Chiefs. https://t.co/0EPH0xT4r2

But the Tigers are legit. Kim Mulkey, despite her penchant for controversy, is no slouch when it comes to game planning for stars. She and Angel Reese will be ready to go on Sunday.
Does Clark have one more big outing in her? Can she win a championship for Iowa this weekend? One way or another, an answer to those questions will emerge over the next couple of days.
