Anthony Edwards Names His Favorite Player Of All Time

Anthony Edwards is one of the most interesting stars in the entire NBA right now.

Everything he says strikes a chord with fans.

This week, Edwards did an interview regarding his favorite player of all time. While it didn’t go as viral as the one where he got brutally honest about Ja Morant, fans still really enjoyed it.

“Before I met him, I felt like he was super cool, and then when I met him, I realized we are the same,” Edwards said of Kevin Durant.

“All we want to do is hoop. We let our people control our stuff, but we just want to get on the court and hoop. That’s what I realized when I first got around him. Every time he walks in the gym, he grabs a ball and goes straight to the court before he puts his clothes on, and just starts shooting. And then off the court we’d just be chilling.”

Edwards is just 23 years old. In that respect, it makes a lot of sense why he would prefer someone like Durant to Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant.

He likely didn’t really see the latter two play.

Edwards’ impact on the NBA over the past few years has been massive. Will his growth continue during the 2024-25 NBA season? An answer one way or another will emerge soon enough.
