The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Phoenix Suns 115-85 on Tuesday night.
LA trailed by as many as 11 points early in the first quarter. By halftime, the deficit was 30. At one particular point midway through the third quarter the lead stood at 36.
Now the defending champs find themselves down 3-2 in their best-of-seven first-round series.
So are they worried?
A cryptic new post by Lakers center Andre Drummond offers an interesting window into where the team’s mind is at right now.

What does that mean? It’s up to each individual fan to figure that out for themselves.
Throughout his short stint with the Lakers Drummond has been solid, posting 11.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
Unfortunately that hasn’t been — and won’t be — enough to get past Phoenix. For that, the champs will need Anthony Davis back in the fold.

On Tuesday night, LeBron James plainly said what he expected out of Davis in the coming days. Whether it’ll actually come to fruition or not remains to be seen.
One way or another, Game 6 will be absolutely huge. Either the Lakers will prevail and force the Suns to beat James in a Game 7 – or the defending champs will fall and face the consequences of that this summer. Stars will get traded, contracts will get reworked – and the reverberations will be felt throughout the league.
What will ultimately happen? Time will tell.
