All Of Bronny James’ Highlights From His Lakers Preseason Debut

The Los Angeles Lakers played their first preseason game of the year on Friday night in a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As usual, they lost.

L.A. being terrible in the preseason has become something of a trend in recent years, and it continued to be the case this week.

One of the most highly-anticipated things to occur in this outing was the debut of rookie, Bronny James.

The Lakers have a very clear cut plan for Bronny as it pertains to the first regular season game of the year, so all eyes were on him on Friday night to see how he would perform. Turns out, the answer proved to be that he would look exactly as he had in practice this week.

A video of all his highlights went viral in the aftermath of the game:

Why does that video only feature one layup? Because he only hit one shot on the evening.

Bronny finished with 2 points on 1-of-6 shooting, 3 blocks, 1 rebound and 1 assist.

In the aftermath, Lakers head coach J.J. Redick had this to say about the team’s second-round draft pick:

What will Bronny ultimately be able to accomplish in his first season as a pro basketball player?

An answer one way or the other is coming within the next few months.
