NBA Buyout Market Players That Are Still Available

With the NBA Trade Deadline having come and gone, the only real way teams can improve themselves at this juncture is via the buyout market.

Among the more well-known players that have yet to be picked up are: Furkan Korkmaz, Ish Smith, Robin Lopez, Kevin Knox, Danuel House, Cory Joseph, Danny Green, Joe Harris, Juan Toscano-Anderson,  Chimezie Metu and Frank Ntilikina.

Otto Porter Jr. and Victor Oladipo are also available in various capacities. The latter has been linked to at least one title contender in recent days, whereas the former has two teams vying for his services.

Out of the aforementioned group, several of the players have been linked to multiple potential suitors.

Lopez, for example, has three teams who have kicked the tires on adding him.

House also reportedly has several Eastern Conference powerhouses eyeing him – plus the Atlanta Hawks.

There is also a group of players out there currently on teams, but possibly on the verge of a buyout.

That list includes: Davis Bertans of the Charlotte Hornets, Troy Brown of the Detroit Pistons, Seth Curry of the Charlotte Hornets, Evan Fournier of the Detroit Pistons, Devonte’ Graham of the San Antonio Spurs and Wesley Matthews of the Atlanta Hawks.

Also among that group is Patty Mills of the Hawks, Shake Milton of the Pistons, Marcus Morris of the Spurs, Mike Muscala of the Pistons, Cedi Osman of the Spurs, Lamar Stevens of the Memphis Grizzlies and Garrett Temple of the Toronto Raptors.

A number of these guys can have very big roles if they land in the right situations – particularly with title contenders.

The next few months promise to be interesting in the NBA as some of the league’s more well-known role players scramble to find a home for the rest of the season.
