Will Cain, Bomani Jones Spar Over NASCAR And Race (Audio)
Will Cain and Bomani Jones sparred over NASCAR and race relations in the United States on Wednesday.
Jones went on Cain’s radio show specifically to ask him about comments he made on ESPN’s First Take regarding the Bubba Wallace-noose situation.
Essentially, while appearing on First Take, Cain argued that NASCAR and the media had ulterior motivations when reporting on the noose incident, and discovering the truth was not one of those motivations.
“I cannot give NASCAR any credit. I think NASCAR deserves a massive indictment,” he said.
Jones took issue with this, and said as much on Cain’s radio show.
Late Wednesday afternoon, the pair’s exchange trended on Twitter. Opinions seem to fall along party lines. Liberals thought Jones came out best in the exchange, while conservatives overwhelmingly sided with Cain.
