Ohio State Angry With Michigan State’s Behavior
Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann is angry with Michigan State’s behavior on Senior Day this past Sunday afternoon.
Following the Spartans’ dominant 80-69 win this weekend, Holtmann expressed annoyance at an old Michigan State tradition that multiple players participated in during the showdown.
On Senior Day, before Spartan players check out of the final regular season outing of the year, they often times go to center court and kiss the logo.
This has been a longstanding tradition for the program and not something that has generally caused issues for anyone.
Nevertheless, Holtmann was a bit peeved by the display.

“They should do that after the game,” he said to an official.
“They should do that after the game,” Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann told a ref, complaining about the Spartans’ tradition of having seniors kiss the logo at midcourt on Senior Day.

The Big Ten Tournament is set to tip off this coming Wednesday. If the Buckeyes and Spartans end up re-matching at some point, this situation will inevitably be brought up in some capacity.
Izzo says he has to apologize to Holtmann but mentions MSU has kissed the logo at midcourt even after losses.
