Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant just wrapped up a disappointingly short NBA season.

Despite entering the year with championship aspirations, Durant and his team were swept out of the first round by the Boston Celtics.

With a lot of free time suddenly on his hands, Durant decided to go to Europe.

While there, the 33-year-old had himself quite the adventure:

Durant didn’t just go clubbing while visiting Greece, though. He also attended a Monaco basketball game that featured his friend and former teammate, Mike James.

When was put up on the big screen, this is the response he got:

Durant is obviously no stranger to making headlines. Be it through his generally-stellar on-the-court play or his weird dramatics off it, he is always in the news.

Lately it feels like he has generated a lot more viral chatter for sending out nasty texts and being an overall weirdo on the internet than any substantial basketball accomplishments, but hopefully that will change.

If the Nets come back and win a championship next year, Durant will reclaim his position atop of basketball’s hierarchy. Many were already crowning him king over LeBron James prior to the Nets’ postseason collapse.

But if Brooklyn falters once more in 2022-23, it’s going to have a very real impact on Durant’s legacy.
