Montrezl Harrell’s 1-Word Description Of Dennis Schroder (Video)

Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder were teammates on the ill-fated 2020-21 Los Angeles Lakers. Despite lofty expectations, that team disappointed all season long, culminating in a frustrating first round ouster at the hands of the Phoenix Suns.

The fallout from that group’s shortcomings was swift.

Harrell was traded to the Washington Wizards in the package that returned Russell Westbrook to LA.

Schroder underwent a messy and embarrassing free agency that made him reportedly lose something like $80 million.

Interestingly enough, that experience did not bond the two.

On Saturday, the Wizards took on the Boston Celtics in a surprisingly contentious game. Ultimately, Washington prevailed 115-112.

One of the interesting moments that occurred during the game was actually an encounter between Harrell and Schroder.

At one point early in the first, Harrell scored with ease on the much smaller Schroder. Afterward, he offered a one-word description of his former teammate.

That description: “Trash.”

There have been countless reports since last season about how Schroder’s Lakers teammates absolutely hated him. One player in particular was very happy to see him gone.

It’s hard not to wonder if, perhaps, Harrell was also one of the folks who wasn’t a big Schroder fan.

Then again, given how quick Harrell has been to blast the Lakers for various misgivings over the past couple of months, there is a good chance that if he had a problem with Schroder, he would’ve have publicly revealed it by now.

Either way, based on recent events, it’s safe to say that these two probably don’t miss playing with each other.
