Paul Skenes is coming off a collegiate campaign that saw him guide LSU to a National Championship and win the National Pitcher of the Year award, the Dick Howser Trophy and the College World Series Most Outstanding Player award.
For his troubles, Skenes was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Skenes’ teammate Dylan Crews was taken immediately after him with the No. 2 overall pick, and his girlfriend’s provocative photos just went viral a few weeks ago. In that respect, this intrigue surrounding Skenes’ potential relationship with Dunne is unsurprising.
