Atlanta Braves Making Big Move After Losing Josh Donaldson
The Atlanta Braves are making a big move after losing Josh Donaldson.
On Tuesday evening the Minnesota Twins announced that they are signing Donaldson to a massive $92 million deal.
The move meant that Atlanta now has a giant, gaping hole in the lineup that somehow needs to be addressed.
According to CBS Sports MLB insider Jim Bowden, Braves brass is already working on a Plan B.

Bowden reports that Atlanta is now targeting signing free agent outfielders Nick Castellanos and Marcell Ozuna. Trades for Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies or Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs also remain viable options.
Castellanos recorded 27 homers and 58 doubles last season between the Detroit Tigers and Cubs.
Ozuna had a similarly strong year in 2019, recording 29 homers and 89 RBIs with the St. Louis Cardinals.
It remains to be seen what the Braves ultimately decide to do to address the vacancy left behind by Donaldson, but it is already clear that the team will be very aggressive no matter what.
