Minnesota Vikings Issue Surprising Dalvin Cook Health Update

The Minnesota Vikings issued a surprising Dalvin Cook health update ahead of this weekend.

Cook missed the last two games of the regular season with a shoulder injury, but he appears good to go for the playoffs.

Barring some sort of significant setback, he will play in his team’s big postseason showdown with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

“Two weeks of rest and got treatment … I’ve been putting the time in, and I feel good,” Cook said.

“It’s a long season. You go through a lot, your body takes a lot. I got some rest, and I’m ready to go.”

So far this season cook has rushed for 1,135 yards and 13 scores on the ground. On top of that, he also added 519 receiving yards.

In Minnesota’s Week 16 defeat to the Green Bay Packers the team could only muster 57 rushing yards and 139 yards of total offense, illustrating just how vital Cook’s participation is to the team’s chances.

If the Vikings have any hope of beating the Saints this weekend, a healthy Cook will be absolutely instrumental.
