Maya Moore’s Husband, Wife: Who Is WNBA Star Dating?
Maya Moore’s husband, wife and who she is dating has been the subject of much speculation. This makes sense, given that Moore is one of the most recognizable stars in the WNBA.
To date, she has offered very little insight into her love life. As a matter of fact, most people don’t even know whether she is straight or gay.
Although Moore has always been something of a fan favorite, her reach has grown tremendously over the past year. This is due in large part to her opting out of playing basketball in 2019 to focus on social justice issues.
This past week, Moore achieved a massive goal. On Wednesday, it was revealed that she helped secure the freedom of Jonathan Irons.
Irons, 40, was locked up on a 50-year sentence, but maintained his innocence the whole time. When Moore heard his story, she decided to intervene.
Surely enough, when Irons was finally granted his freedom, Moore was there and waiting for him – ensuring that he had a support system outside of prison, too.
When she is not fighting for others, Moore is a member of the Minnesota Lynx. The 31-year-old has been a member of the same organization since 2011, when she was drafted.
With the Lynx, Moore has racked up four WNBA titles, one WNBA Finals MVP and one WNBA regular season MVP.
Prior to that, she won back-to-back championships with UConn in 2009 and 2010.
Moore is regarded by many as the greatest winner in women’s basketball history.
