On Wednesday, Portnoy was confronted with the topic of his size on Twitter.
A user by the name of “Joey” took a shot at him over recent comments made by Portnoy where he suggested he could not be cancelled.
Portnoy was confronted with a screenshot of this tweet, along with another claiming he was six feet and two inches. The Twitter user then asked him point blank: how tall are you? What is your height?
The Barstool Sports boss replied with a joke.
“5’10’7,” he said.
Multiple Twitter users joined in on the comedy, noting that Portnoy’s height did not really matter. What did matter was his net worth – which currently stands at something in the $120 million range.
Earlier this week Portnoy found himself at the center of some controversy surrounding Jemelle Hill, Colin Kaepernick and the Middle East. It looks like that controversy has not done much to put a lid on his popularity, though.
