LSU easily defeated Purdue in the Citrus Bowl on Monday 63-7.
It was a dominant effort from start to finish on both sides of the ball.
That said, their dominant showing against the Boilermakers wasn’t the only reason the Tigers found themselves in the headlines this week.
Over the past 24 hours social media has run amok with reports that various members of the LSU football program allegedly partook in a particularly crazy party:

It important to note, none of this has been confirmed or corroborated by any of the parties involved.
Nevertheless, college football fans responded to the rumors exactly the way one would expect them to. As the Tigers absolutely dismantled Purdue at the Citrus Bowl, this is what folks were saying online:

That LSU pre-Citrus Bowl party sure got them locked in eh?

If what Twitter is saying about LSU party is true. That’s so unfortunate. Shorty spent all of college interning for a shot like this, just to mess it up. Also why I tell homegirls to never mix work with pleasure. When shit hit the fan, only you are impacted.

This has been a crazy year for LSU football.
Between Brian Kelly’s daughter causing a stir with her wild photos, models getting handsy on the sidelines of their games and Coach O being Coach O with his new girlfriend – it has been one thing after another.

This is just the most recent wrinkle to work through.
Time will tell if these party rumors prove to be true. At the moment, nobody official has bothered addressing them yet.
