LSU Coach Brian Kelly’s Daughter’s Provocative Photo Causes A Stir

LSU Coach Brian Kelly's Daughter's Provocative Photo Causes A Stir

LSU coach Brian Kelly is coming off a reasonably successful first year as the Tigers’ head football coach.

Following an undeniably disappointing Week 1 loss to Florida State, the team rallied and ended up registering some good wins over the likes of Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida and Alabama.

That last one, obviously, was particularly meaningful and in many people’s eyes overshadowed the Tennessee blowout and the Georgia defeat.

In the end, LSU finished tops in the SEC West – which is probably better than what most expected when the season began.

This past week, Brian Kelly found himself embroiled in something of a bizarre controversy. It started with a report that he and his wife of 28 years, with whom he has three children, were splitting up.

“LSU head football coach Brian Kelly has filed for divorce from his wife of 28 years,” WBRZ News reported.

It was an odd development, but given how wild Coach O got during his time at LSU, could sort of be rationalized.

Shortly after the initial report dropped, though, Brian Kelly’s daughter Grace decided to intervene.

Folks absolutely loved that photo. To say that it provoked a ton of replies would be an understatement.

So how did WBRZ respond? With an update.

“After a divorce petition was filed this week, a source in the LSU athletic department says Brian Kelly and his wife have reconciled and will seek to have the case withdrawn from the courts,” the report stated.

Make of that what you will.

In any case, Grace is no stranger to causing a stir online. Between her wild photos from games and provocative video from the Florida outing she has become something of a mini-college football celebrity.

Her finding a way to land in the headlines this time around is just further proof of that.

Obviously the Kelly family dynamics seem to be in a state of flux right now.

What the future holds for all parties involved remains to be seen.

How will Brian Kelly’s offseason drama ultimately effect LSU’s football team in 2023? Time will tell.
