Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball is living a pretty charmed life these days. Not only is he the reigning Rookie of the Year and so respected by his team that he can literally get his brother a roster slot, he is also enjoying immense success off the court.

In his private life, he is regularly spotted with only the most desired of Instagram models. It is so commonplace, in fact, that he has even opted to share his one simple trick for pulling the ladies with the masses in an effort to level the playing field.

Professionally, though – he also appears to be on the verge of dropping the hottest shoe in the NBA. He has partnered with Puma to release the Puma MB.01 – and early returns on it are very promising.

NBA broadcaster Jalen Rose recently published an Instagram video seemingly showcasing Ball’s kicks – and they are absolute fire.

Although pricing for the shoe is unclear, a recent GQ Magazine spread did seem to suggest that it was $125.

Inevitably, comparisons have to be made between Ball’s kicks and other prominent ones. Clearly they are better than LeBron James’. There is also a case to be made they’re nicer than Alex Caruso’s shockingly nice ones, and Gordon Hayward’s similarly fire ones.

Since even Kyrie Irving admits his are hideous — clearly Ball’s are better than those.

It’ll be interesting to see how Ball’s shoes ultimately sell. If market truly does follow quality, these could be the hottest kicks around come next year.
