The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 102-93 on Friday night.
LeBron James finished with 28 points on the evening, while Dennis Schröder chipped in 22 in his return to the lineup.
Although LA snapping a four-game skid with a victory over a tenacious Blazers squad was impressive, it wasn’t quite as impressive as some of the individual feats of the team’s role players.
First you had Kostas Antetokounmpo and Jared Dudley single-handedly pulling off the impossible from the bench. Then, more importantly, you had the whole squad stepping up and acting quickly when James suffered something of a hair emergency.
The video speaks for itself.

This isn’t the first time the Lakers’ camaraderie resulted in them coming together to save James from a messy situation.
James’ persistent war with his hair is a reminder that no one is immune to these sorts of situations. The man is rapidly approaching billionaire status, has the power to shift presidential elections, and is on his way to becoming the greatest basketball player of all time – but he still struggles with the same issues that regular middle-aged men struggle with.
Ultimately, James may not have a good, healthy head of hair – but at least he has good friends.
