Klay Thompson On Why He’s Jealous Of Warriors Rookie James Wiseman

Klay Thompson may not be playing for the Golden State Warriors this season, but he is still keeping a very close eye on how his team is faring. He is definitely in the thick of everything.

Thompson displayed a wide array of emotions when Stephen Curry scored 62 points last week, and didn’t even bother to step out of the limelight when that ‘intimate’ photo scandal broke out not long ago.

This week, Thompson has specifically been following the progression of the team’s first round draft pick out of Memphis, James Wiseman.

On Monday night, Thompson took to social media to describe one element of Wiseman’s game that triggers feelings of jealousy within him.

Thompson may not be able to dunk like his team’s new young center, but he is quite the talent in his own right. Widely regarded as one of the best pure shooters of all time, the 30-year-old is a three-time NBA champ, five-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA Team member.

Wiseman, meanwhile, is slowly coming into his own. He finished Monday’s 137-106 blowout win over the Sacramento Kings with 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting, to go along with four boards, an assist, and two blocks.

If Wiseman continues developing the way most expect him to over the next few years, he will turn into an absolute force to be reckoned with.
