Kawhi Leonard Hilariously Ignores Pat Beverley, Walks Away

Kawhi Leonard is a pretty classic guy. He is unintentionally funny in a way that many athletes wish they could be, because it allows him to stay himself while at the same time not coming off as disingenuous.

Over the years, Leonard has provided fans with a ton of memorable moments. While what happened this week probably won’t go down in the history books, it was still pretty funny.

Patrick Beverley was mic’d up recently, allowing viewers at home to get an inside peek at his conversations with his fellow players. One person who wanted no part of that was Leonard.

Kawhi Leonard, Clippers Lock Down No. 2 Seed In West

The more notable thing to happen on Wednesday night was the Clippers securing the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference for the first time in the franchise’s 50-year history.

This positions them perfectly to avoid the No. 1 ranked Los Angeles Lakers until a potential Western Conference Finals clash. It also enables them to avoid facing the Houston Rockets in the second round.

If the Clippers do ultimately make it to the Western Conference Finals, it would mark the first time in franchise history that they would accomplish that feat as well.

Previously, the closest that they ever got to that was blowing a 3-1 lead in the second round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs to the Rockets.
