Katherine Webb Goes Viral With New Instagram Photo
Katherine Webb went viral with a new Instagram photo this week.
The reason for it going viral was not the photo, though, it was the accompanying caption.
Webb earned national fame seven years ago during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game when the announcers fawned over her beauty.
As Alabama and Notre battled it out for a title on the field, the cameras panned to Webb in the stands. The two men calling the game, Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit, could not get over how beautiful she was.
And thus, a new celebrity was born.
Interestingly enough, as the years progressed, Webb seemingly voluntarily faded from the spotlight.
This week, in an Instagram photo, she explained why she made the choice to do so.
“I quit ‘Hollywood’ shortly after because I realized I genuinely hated being ‘famous’ and having my personal life out there so much,” Webb wrote.
Webb ultimately ended up marrying her then boyfriend A.J. McCarron and settling down to have a family with him.
