Karl-Anthony Towns Reveals Biggest Career Goal

Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns has had a fascinating career up to this point.

By any objective measure, the 25-year-old is a star. That said, he has had a lot of trouble winning. As such there is constant talk of the Wolves trading him.

The chatter is so loud, in fact, that two teams have made it something of an open secret that they plan to aggressively pursuit him.

That said, Towns has consistently maintained that he is focused on winning with the Timberwolves.

This past week Towns did a Q&A on social media where he spoke openly and honestly about what his biggest career goal at this point is.

“Winning championships,” he said.

“I’ve had the fortune of putting up some amazing stats, historical stats in games and seasons. But you’re only remembered for the championships you truly win. I just gotta try to win some chips. That’s what my legacy will be built on, how much I win.”

Towns is obviously a big winner off the court. Even cheating rumors couldn’t bring the man down. On the court, however? Not so much.

Will Towns ultimately be able to accomplish his goal in Minnesota? Time will tell.
