Justin Fields’ girlfriend made an appearance at this week’s Chicago Bears preseason game.
On Saturday, the Bears faced off against the Buffalo Bills in their most recent outing. Chicago ultimately fell 24-21, but because the consequential players sat out most of the game, nobody really paid attention to the end result.
Rather what folks couldn’t stop talking about after the fact was that Fields’ girlfriend, Gianna Carmona, seemed to be in attendance, per TMSPN.
Why is this noteworthy? Obviously Carmona has gone viral over her wild photos in the past, so there’s nothing new here.
The reason why some were surprised to see her in attendance, however, is because Fields was quite publicly linked to a fling with an Instagram model not long ago.
How does Carmona fit into all that? It’s unclear.
That said, in a week where Justin Herbert’s girlfriend’s provocative photos caused a stir and Aaron Rodgers’ new girl finally showed up to one of his games, Fields’ better half making a preseason appearance probably should come as a huge shock.
Love life stuff notwithstanding, this is going to be the biggest year of Fields’ football career.
On paper, Chicago looks improved. The NFC North is also very wide open with Rodgers heading to New York and the Minnesota Vikings being the Minnesota Vikings.
The Detroit Lions have the potential to surprise some people in 2023, but the Bears do as well.
It just depends on which version of Fields ultimately shows up.

Will it be the guy who consistently had Ohio State atop the college football world during his stint with the Buckeyes?
Or will it be the quarterback who has struggled to get much of anything going in two years as a pro?
One way or another, Fields and the Bears will answer a lot of questions in 2023.
