The Los Angeles Lakers signed Juan Toscano-Anderson away from the Golden State Warriors this past week.
It was originally believed that Toscano-Anderson may remain in the Bay for 2022-23, but ultimately the Warriors opted not to extend a $2.1 million qualifying offer. At that point, L.A. swooped in.
On Sunday Toscano-Anderson showed up to a summer league game featuring his new squad to cheer the team on.
Understandably, he and his girlfriend immediately went viral:

This isn’t the first time Toscano-Anderson’s girl has gotten attention online. Her Instagram is also quite popular:

Toscano-Anderson played for the Warriors for three years and just won his first ever title with the organization. Over the span of nearly 140 games he averaged 4.8 points per game on 52.3 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from beyond the arc.
In addition, he also chipped in 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per outing.
The hope is that he will be able to provide the Lakers with a nice little offensive spark off the bench.
L.A. is currently very much immersed in conversations for a trade centering around Kyrie Irving. Currently two players are holding a prospective deal up, but the hope is that somehow the Lakers and Nets will work through it.
If the swap does ultimately go down, Toscano-Anderson will immediately once again find himself in the hunt for a championship.
No wonder Dak Prescott is so motivated these days. https://t.co/83VQPw7UGz

And players always seem to play a little better when there are meaningful stakes on the line.
Will Toscano-Anderson be able to win the hearts of Los Angeles fans the way he did over his time with Golden State?
An answer will emerge soon enough.
