Joe Burrow picked an unexpected agent for the 2020 Draft.
On Tuesday, the Heisman-winning LSU quarterback revealed that he was signing with CAA Sports as his representation heading into the looming draft.
CAA is widely regarded as one of the top agencies in all of sports, so this is a pretty big power move for all involved.

CAA counts the likes of Drew Brees and Matt Ryan as its other big, notable quarterback clients.
The Cincinnati Bengals currently hold the top overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but it remains to be seen if they hold on to it.
Burrow is widely viewed as the top player available in this year’s proceedings, so any team that wants him will likely have to have the No. 1 overall pick to get him.
If the Bengals decide that they do want to move out of the top spot, the Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers are rumored to be highly interested in drafting Burrow.
This past year, Burrow recorded 5,671 yards and 60 scores while leading LSU to its first National Championship Game victory since 2007.
