Jimmy Garoppolo Responds To Erin Andrews, Critics Of ‘Baby’ Comment

Jimmy Garoppolo responds to Erin Andrews and critics of his ‘baby’ comment in a recent press conference.

Garoppolo spoke to reporters on Thursday and attempted to clear the air regarding an incident that went viral one week earlier.

Last Thursday night, Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Arizona Cardinals in a hard-fought divisional battle.

After the game, Andrews interviewed Garoppolo and asked how he felt about his team being undefeated.

When Garoppolo responded with a “Feels great, baby,” the consensus was split on whether that was an appropriate answer.

Andrews had some fun with Garoppolo the following day by tweeting out a low-key response of her own.

Finally, this week, Garoppolo decided to put the matter to rest once and for all.

“I didn’t expect it to blow up like that,” he told reporters.

“It is what it is. I was excited. 8-0, baby.”

Will this settle down everyone who was upset over his comment? Probably not.

Does he care? Probably not.
