Jason Garrett Brings Another Cowboys Star To Giants

Jason Garrett is bringing another Cowboys star to the Giants.

On the heels of a story noting that Garrett may lure Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten to New York, a similar new report has emerged.

Fresh on the heels of being named Joe Judge’s new offensive coordinator, Garrett is now bringing former Dallas offensive line coach Marc Colombo in for an interview with the Giants.

The 41-year-old Colombo formerly played for Dallas and was subsequently brought on as an offensive line coach.

When new Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy arrived, he essentially cleaned house and got rid of all of Garrett’s old disciples.

That included Colombo.

Colombo will officially interview with the Giants on Wednesday.

Over the course of his tenure with Dallas, Colombo enjoyed a good amount of success.

As the o-line coach, his unit helped turn the Cowboys into the fifth best running team in the league.

It remains to be seen what impact Colombo will ultimately be able to have on the Giants, but given how much of the team’s offense is based around running back Saquon Barkley, it will probably be fairly sizable.
