Cleveland Cavaliers big man Jarrett Allen is having a career year.

The 23-year-old is averaging 16.2 points per game on 66.5 percent shooting from the field – the second-best field goal percentage in the whole NBA. Beyond that, he is also averaging 11.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

For his troubles, Allen was named as James Harden’s All-Star Game replacement for Sunday’s outing.

On Friday, Allen went viral on Twitter for his All-Star weekend wardrobe choice. The visual speaks for itself:

Naturally, Twitter had some reactions:

Even ESPN NBA commentator Kendrick Perkins felt the need to come out and address the matter. In his eyes, there was nothing wrong with Allen’s drip.

The NBA has become home to some zany outfit choices. James Harden’s sun dress and Russell Westbrook’s evening gown obviously come to mind.

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma also makes some intriguing decisions in that department.

Compared to all those – is Allen’s wardrobe really all that provocative? For Twitter, apparently so.

For the real world? Nah.
