Ja Morant’s 4-Word Message For Steph Curry After Grizzlies Win

Ja Morant’s 4-Word Message For Steph Curry After Grizzlies Win

Ja Morant put up one of the best performances of his life on Tuesday night to help lead his Memphis Grizzlies to a 106-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

With the win, Memphis evened up the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinals showdown at one game apiece.

Morant was spectacular in the victorious effort, scoring 47 points on 15-of-31 shooting from the field – to go along with 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

After the game, the Grizzlies star delivered a four-word message to Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

“Let’s have some fun,” Morant told his counterpart.

Afterward, during a session with the media, Morant addressed his confident message to Curry.

“[I] had some friendly words with Steph [Curry],” he said.

“After Game 1, he came to me [and] Jaren [and] said, ‘It’s going to be a battle. We’re going to have some fun.’ I was able to return that message tonight. … This is my favorite matchup, playing against a guy like him.”

Morant has been on an incredible run in these playoffs. Between dismantling the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round, taking Drake’s girl off him with ease and now giving the Warriors a legitimate battle – the 22-year-old is an absolute stud.

Can he lead Memphis past Golden State? It’s impossible to say for certain.

But will the match-up be much closer than many anticipated? Absolutely.
