Is LeBron James Secretly Playing For Cameroon In 2022 World Cup?

LeBron James has missed the Los Angeles Lakers’ last five games with a left adductor strain suffered on Nov. 9.

L.A. has gone 3-2 since he has been out, which amazingly enough is significantly better than they had fared with him.

That said, everyone obviously still wants James back. He has remained in the headlines with that video of his reaction to seeing Savannah in the stands, but the world is a better place when he is in the news cycle for his on-the-court heroics.

On Thursday, one enterprising Lakers fan made an interesting observation while watching Cameroon play in the 2022 World Cup:

An absolutely legendary tweet.

With NBA Twitter being what it is nowadays, the responses poured in immediately:

Big picture, the Lakers need James back.

His return appears to be on the horizon, though it isn’t quite clear when he will officially step back on the floor.

Los Angeles has gotten off to a rough start this year, but there are some potential moves that could change the course of this season.

Will James and the Lakers be able to return to some semblance of normalcy and greatness before the 2022-23 season gets away from them?

Time will tell.
