How Auburn Will Beat Alabama, According To CBS

How will Auburn beat Alabama? Well, according to CBS it will involve the Tigers being much better offensively than they have been for a lot of this season.

Heading into rivalry weekend, one of the biggest match-ups taking place on Saturday is Alabama’s annual showdown versus Auburn.

Auburn will look to utilize their defense in an effort to slow down Alabama’s offense, but as noted by CBS sports analyst Gary Danielson, they will also need to figure out how to put points on the board.

“I don’t personally think that Auburn can handle this Alabama offense the way they need to,” Danielson said.

“I mean, I don’t think they think coming into this game think they can win 17-10. I just don’t believe that. I feel they think they need to get to 28, 31 points.

“I don’t think this Auburn team, the way it’s built, they don’t have a dominating running back, they’re good SEC running backs, but they don’t have a Kerryon Johnson back there.”

He didn’t stop there, though.

“For them to move the ball against Alabama, I think they have to use (QB) Bo Nix in the running game,” Danielson continued.

“That’s when Gus is best at calling plays. He’s most comfortable that way. And I think that’s your best chance at keeping this Alabama defense off balance.”

Will Auburn be able to ultimately end Alabama’s College Football Playoff dreams once and for all?

We’ll find out for certain come this Saturday.
