Gus Malzahn and Auburn Are A Joke, According To Paul Finebaum

Gus Malzahn and Auburn are a joke, according to ESPN’s Paul Finebaum.

While appearing on WJOX on Monday morning, Finebaum said that the Tigers and their head coach got exposed in Saturday’s 24-13 loss to Florida.

Despite the impressive victories that the team recorded against Oregon and Texas A&M earlier this year, Finebaum does not appear to have a particularly high opinion of Auburn or its future.

“It was hard to believe they would look like that,” he said.

“But let’s remember the scene, one of the most dangerous in the country, and Dan Mullen is one of the most dangerous coaches, and Gus Malzahn got exposed Saturday afternoon.”

Finebaum also now thinks that the rest of the Tigers’ year is a huge question mark.

“It was as simple as we made it out to be in the last week,” he continued.

“A win there and you figure out a way to navigate the brutal three-game stretch that will define your season.

“Without the cushion of the Florida win, Auburn’s season is completely up in the air.”

With games against LSU, Georgia and Alabama still on the horizon, it is very possible that Auburn finishes with four losses on the year when it is all said and done.
