Girls Reportedly Sleeping In Cars For NBA All-Star Weekend

NBA All-Star weekend is always a big deal. Regardless of which city it is ultimately held in, it marks a multi-day stretch where the world’s greatest basketball players and America’s thirstiest Instagram groupies unite to make magic happen.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic that has swept the globe this past year, 2021 is no different.

Against the wishes of some, the NBA moved forward with an All-Star weekend this year. Even though commissioner Adam Silver specifically requested no non-basketball activities take place, Atlanta didn’t listen.

“We don’t want people to gather for events around this All-Star, there will be absolutely no social functions in Atlanta…no parties,” he said.

Despite that request, more than two dozen parties featuring some of the biggest names in music were scheduled.

Atlanta is so buzzing in fact, that hotels were quickly sold out.

That led to a tricky situation where all the groupies who came out to party it up found themselves without a room to call their own.

So what did they do?

They got creative.

No wonder some NBA players are so angry that they didn’t get the call-up to the All-Star Game. Hideous jerseys notwithstanding, All-Star weekend looks like a lot of fun.
