Future’s Role In Lori Harvey Breaking Up With Michael B. Jordan

Future’s Role In Lori Harvey Breaking Up With Michael B. Jordan

Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan broke up recently after being in a relationship for roughly one and a half years.

Despite the latter recently purchasing a large new home and talk of marriage, the pair decided to go their separate ways.

By all accounts, Harvey and Jordan splitting up was not an easy decision.

In fact, it was described as something that left both “heartbroken.”

“Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken,” a source told People Magazine. “They still love each other. Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term.

“He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”

How can both parties be “heartbroken” in a situation like this? It’s unclear. Especially since it seems quite obvious that Harvey is the one who decided enough was enough.

“Now, as for the reasoning behind the reported uncoupling … People, citing a source familiar, says Michael apparently wanted to get even more serious with Lori than they already were, as he was apparently seeking to go the distance in a long-term relationship,” TMZ reported.

“There’s no clarification or pushback from Lori’s perspective … which seems to suggest she didn’t necessarily want the same thing as him.”

Based on everything that has come out thus far, it’s clear that the future played a significant role in Harvey and Jordan breaking up.

Interestingly enough, the rapper Future also began to trend when news of Harvey and Jordan splitting emerged. The tweets largely speak for themselves:

The Future link here is an interesting one because of the pair’s up-and-down relationship over the past few years. They got very hot and heavy about two years ago (she was one of several ladies on his hit list) – only to split in epic fashion.

In the time since, Future has seemingly held a grudge. Most recently, he called Harvey out on 42 Dugg’s song “Maybach” when he rapped, “Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her,” in regards to his former flame.

At the time, Future also had words for Jordan.

“Must have forgotten to tell her daddy she begged me not to leave/Put baguettes on your ankles damn near up to your knees, she didn’t have a choice but to go f**k a lame after me,” he rapped.

It will be interesting to see if Future has anything to say now that Harvey and Jordan are done. Mind you, he always has something to say about Ciara and Russell Wilson.

So much so, in fact, that the pair literally had to run away from him last time they saw him at an event.

Will the same hold true for Harvey and Jordan?

Time will tell.
